My APBT has a little red pimple on her back leg?

My 6 month old APBT has like a little red bump on her rear right leg. Its hair less about the size of a quater. I%26#039;m going to take her to the vet, but wondering if it could just be something small. If anyone els has had this problem would love to hear about it. Oh yea, and this just started when I moved back home.|||It could be a stress rash, or it could be folliculitis which is an infection of the hair follicle or cancer. Now here is what the vet will do for you.

1) Take a skin scraping of the area, and put it under a microscope. If its not cancerous then cancer is out

2) Once that is done they will see if its folliculitis and run some tests, if its positive then they will give you antibiotics (like baytril or cephalexin) to clear it up

3) If its not that and its a stress rash, then the vet will give you something like a cream to put on it, and may even give you something to relief the stress.|||Yes take her to the vet, most likely it is a rash, my APBT had that too.|||It could be a developing tumor or just a rash, but better to be safe than sorry.|||Take her to the vet. It%26#039;s possible that it could be a developing tumor.
