How can i make the redness around my pimple go away?

Popping the zit, as tempting as it is, will prolong its time on your face and prevent it from healing...it also increases the chance of it become infected or filling up with puss once again. So popping it wil actually make it redder. Leaving it be is the best way to go...|||I%26#039;ve read in many articles that putting a dollop of toothpaste on the pimple and leaving it overnight, will dry it up real quick. I%26#039;ve never tried it because, thankfully, I don%26#039;t get them.
